I have a bunch of folders by name "first last", and I want them to be "Last, First".

It seems like it should be easy enough to program - Select last word, add "," and a space, move to front, delete ending space.

I was surprised not to find an app that does this. Maybe I'm the only crazy person who cares to do this. :)

Give Automator a try

I'm at work now, so I can't try it, but this sounds simple enough for the application Automator to handle. Does anyone know if Automator can do this?

If not Automator, an Applescript could probably be written that can do the text processing on the folder names.

Ok, so my next question would be, how do I select the last word. Each name is a different number of characters so setting it to "last 5 characters" or something like that, won't work.
