Hi,
This is my 1st post here, I hope that's the good place for my question.
I'm trying to use my iPad Pro like a laptop. It's truly full of ressources. But I can't find anything for this one: how can i batch rename multiple files?
Is there a file explorer app that allows that?

IOS11 will have some file handing capability but likely won't be as capable as we all hope for...
... with the current release... no.

Thank you for your answer. Let's wait and cross fingers

Given that the OS X's Finder does not handle batch renames, I don't think iOS' Files app which is not as robust or feature rich as the Finder will have it. the Files app will give you very basic file management capabilities, but iOS is still very closed compared to OS X.

OP, you're likely in need of a Perl/Python script in order to batch change items and I haven't heard of anything capable of that on iOS.
