My new iPad Pro and Apple Pencil have arrived today, however for some reason neither are showing in the batteries widget for my iPhone, and on my iPad my watch and phone don’t show on the battlers widget

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get this sorted at all please?

I'm sorry but can't help you with the battery widget. However I would like to give you a heads up for the macOS App "CoconutBattery"

With this app you can check the health of the battery in your new iPad Pro when connected with USB to you Mac, so you're able to monitor the degration of the battery itself over time!

All batteries for Apple devices have a minimum design power. When your battery slips under that value you're allegeable for a renewing of the battery.

When I buy 2nd hand Apple devices, I always check them with this app. Better safe than sorry!

I hope you like the mentioned app!

Cheers

I believe the battery widget only works for devices connected to the main device.

For example - iPad battery widget shows iPad, Apple Pencil and AirPods (if connected).

iPhone widget shows iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods (assuming watch and pods are connected).

You will not see a devices that is not connected or cannot be connected to the device displaying the widget.
