Battery Advice

Hi,

My new MacBook Pro arrived the other day and im after some advice. I have searched everywhere and not found a clear answer.

How low should i let the power go on my laptop before i plug in and charge? Should i fully drain the battery ?

Any help will be appreciated as my battery is starting to drain 🙂

As for how long you should go before charging, it doesn't really matter. Li-ion batteries don't have "memory" issues like the older NiCads did, so the only thing it's going to affect is your cycle count.

Personally I always KILL the battery if I go below 50 percent.

and do the bat cal monthly🙄
