No, I haven't found a new issue. But one that seems to be an ongoing issue with APC.

It seems that they haven't updated much since 10.4.8 :confused: and people have issues with UPS devices. I need one because I get 1 second outages monthly and a flurry of foul language spews from my mouth when it happens. I'm hoping a $50 item will do the trick for me. But have any of you had the issues listed in that MacWorld article? Alternative company perhaps?
 
I have an APC on my MBP (for external drives), and it's worked fine in Leopard. I haven't had much time with it on Snow Leopard.
 
Did you just plug into the APC box or are you running the software? I'm guessing the software isn't needed, correct?
