Battery case with lightning charger?

Why do all battery cases use micro USB? It's insane. I've even read several reviews applauding this as a good thing.

Are there any iPhone 5s cases that charge both the case and the phone with a single lightning cable?

Amazon sells it for $25, but it gets terrible reviews, any others around, or anyone with feedback on this one? I want it, but I don't want it if it'll suck like most the reviewers seem to say.

I do not think there is one out there that sells one that is apple certified that charges by a lightning port.

The Mophie looks great. Unfortunately it renders my iPhone incompatible with ANY other accessories. Idiotic.

I agree 100%, they put no thought into the redesign when Apple redesigned the handset. Move the bulk of the battery to the top so the standard headphones will fit. Open the port larger on the bottom so aftermarket cables can plug in. Mophie has been going downhill for years now.

I broke down and bought the Mophie Plus. It's a nice case in every way except for the Micro USB charger. Well the headphone cavern is a bit annoying.

Hopefully someone will come out with a high quality battery case with a lightning charger. It's extremely weird to me that there's only one out there... and it has very bad reviews.

I'm a musician and I live on a tour bus so I have a hard time ordering things on line. The Mophie looked like the best option at Best Buy.
