iPhone 11 Pro Max Battery charge lag

i’ve recently noticed when i plug in for charging my phone becomes very jittery and laggy, internet, apps.. everything .. has anyone else experienced this and are there any known fixes?

i’ve done phone restarts, switched from LTE to WiFi.. i’m not sure what’s going on.

Never experienced this, try a restore or give apple a call. 🤔

I've had a bad cable cause total mayhem when typing in the Notes App when charging at the same time. Cursor gets inserted in random places periodically.
Try using a new genuine apple lightning cable.

Never had this on my 11 Pro Max, only time I have ever had lag on it is when the battery hits 1% and is about to die, phone seems to go into some super power saver mode, lol.

What charger and cable are you using?

Jittery and laggy… im guessing the motherboard/pcb couldnt handle the current properly. I had an Android do that before but i sold it not long after.

Precisely why I NEVER buy used phones, you never know what you're getting.

iPhone 11 Pro Max on iOS 14.5

It’s been an issue since I bought my phone back in 2019 and I suspect it might be they are actually something running in the background (say iCloud backup or photos curating) that drag the speed down.

It doesn’t happen very often but it does happen like every 2-3 days. When it happen, my phone gets hella laggy and it takes almost 10 seconds to open an app (even for settings and calendar) and the keyboard does not respond properly too (It is impossible to use swipe to type properly).

Honestly I still miss my iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 10 :’(
