I was expecting worse battery life due to the leaks that displayed lower mAh. I was rather referring to the battery life 12 Pro vs. 11 Pro.

Nevertheless, I really love the „new old“ classic design. They should stick to that design forever lol.

Where did you get that? He actually said that there are no SIM cards in these.

To be honest, that’s what I had expected.

Will be interesting to see when they add the 12 Pro Max to the mix.

11 Pro Max continues to hold the crown for now, I cannot imagine going backwards from its incredible battery life, it gives me room to be careless in terms of how heavily I use it.

Think issue is last years models set such a high standard it’s hard to maintain that level really. Will be interesting how the pro max does on these tests.

I was hoping to move down from the 11 Pro Max to the 12 Pro thinking the battery life would be better this year. I never expected it to be worse. Hard pass on the 12 Pro for me. I'll wait to see what the 12 Pro Max number are like.

In all fairness the 12 and 12 Pro probably didn't index yet either so maybe that might burn the battery quicker. Who knows though.

Still cannot get over last year iP Pro 11 and iP Pro Max 11 battery life that thing is built like a tank for battery life..

My iPhone 11 Pro I watched two 45 minutes tv episode during a coach trip travelling last week over 4G network only lost 24% battery life.

Let's hope the iPhone 12 Pro Max delivers the same battery life....

In all fairness the 12 and 12 Pro probably didn't index yet either so maybe that might burn the battery quicker. Who knows though.

I highly doubt that he set up the new phones as his daily drives (photos sync etc), so what indexing would the phones do?

Also, that contradicts what he showed: The new phones completed the AnTuTu tests faster. Would they manage to do so if the phones were still ”indexing“?

We know the battery capacity reading isn't always accurate. People have devices showing 100% even after months or years of use.

I've read that new iPhones need a few cycles for the battery to start showing it's true capacity. I'm not sure though.

He claimed that he made sure that the phones ”are as good as new“.

To suppose that the older phones have worse battery health, that would be quite looking bad for the new phones 😳
