Why did you expect that? Even between the last two models? I'm curious.
Interesting video, and I imagine they arent using 5G for this.
yeah. only using 4G. He mentioned he turned off 5G or Auto 5G to keep it a level playing field.
Will be interesting to see when they add the 12 Pro Max to the mix.The video below demonstrates a battery comparison between the new iPhone 12/12 Pro and older generations.
To be honest, that’s what I had expected.
In addition, we don't know the cycle count on the iPhone 11 devices. If anything, the results for the iPhone 11/Pro could even be better.
Said the battery health was 100% on all of them.
In all fairness the 12 and 12 Pro probably didn't index yet either so maybe that might burn the battery quicker. Who knows though.

I highly doubt that he set up the new phones as his daily drives (photos sync etc), so what indexing would the phones do?
Also, that contradicts what he showed: The new phones completed the AnTuTu tests faster. Would they manage to do so if the phones were still ”indexing“?

I've read that new iPhones need a few cycles for the battery to start showing it's true capacity. I'm not sure though.
