Good morning,

The battery connector on my wife's Early 2015 MacBook Air has broken off the logic board. The MacBook has slowed down considerably in the last few years. Is it worth it to try to get this repaired? I, myself, have no soldering experience so I do not trust myself to do this on my own.

How much would the repair cost generally and how long would it take? My wife needs her computer daily for work.

Best bet is replace it with a used logic board. You can find them for around $160 (the faster ones cost more). If you disassembled that far, you shouldn’t have trouble replacing the board. Ifixit.com has a guide which will show you how.
