*3.0 ONLY* Finer grain control over the status bar battery.
This will let you show percentage and/or the battery icon on any 3.0 iDevice.

Thanks for the heads up on this!

Note: Enabling %battery using this does not turn on SBSettings %battery toggle, so thats good.

We'll see how this effects battery life.

nono i had issues with makeitmine before i installed "battery control"

I changed my host file and that made MIM crash

but still fakecarrier is better

i cant explain it, it just looks if MIM had an upgrade it would look liek fakecarrier :apple:

Very nice! Thanks for the heads up. :)

EDIT: It has been my experience that anything that runs out of the "settings" app seems to work better.

anyone notice any issues with this program?

I fell asleep on my couch, woke up and notice my phone battery % not showing or the battery itself. I checked the settings, everything is ok.

I rebooted my phone into a sad mac, went and checked the battery...still wouldnt show.

Turned off and on again and now the battery is showing but the % isnt, even though % is selected and battery is not.

hmm that seemed to fix it, wonder why it messed up in the first place.

however, it dropped my battery really low...went from like 80 to 60 in like 3 hours no use at all.

Anyone notice accuracy issues? My battery stayed at 100% while listening to 3 hours of podcasts this morning. I knew that wasn't right so I turned on the battery percentage in SBSettings and it said 88%, which seemed accurate. Right now, SBSettings says 93% and Battery Control says 100%, which I know isn't accurate.

I hate the battery icon but the good news is that Battery Control and SBSettings seem to work together and the percentage from SBS overrides the one from BC, so I've been using BC with icon off and percentage on, and percentage on in SBSettings all day.

.

wow! 20% in just 3 hours of standby!!!!

When i go to sleep i disconect my iPhone and put it next to me (so i can hear the alarm! hehehe) and i ussually sleep from 6-8 hours and if i have Wifi and 3G Off, when the alarm sounds (2 alarms 5 minutes apart) the battery is still at 100%, sometimes 99% if i let the alarm to sound too much.

and if i leave 3G on it varies from 99% to 95% (the same 6-8 sleep hours), cause on my house I rarely pick up 3G (so i guess it spend the night looking for it)

ohh, and that ^ is with push mail on, and fetch every hour...

and install again

also where u using the battery % before?

I notice that people who get the % think the battery drains faster but its that you dont notice it with just the battery icon
but since its numbers going down ,they think the batter % is causin it

Maybe the people who have battery drain issues really have accuracy issues instead. Anyway, I emailed the developer about the accuracy, just in case no one else had. He has a lot of good apps so I'm sure he will fix it.
