I just got a new 13 Pro Max and set it up. Coconut Battery tells me it has a Cycle Count of 6. I’ve never had a new iphone with a Cycle Count greater than 1 (most have been zero out of the box).

Did I get a phone that had been returned?

Does the phone look brand new? Is there any visible signs of damage on the phone? I would be more concerned with that then the cycle count. But you do have 14 days to decide.

It takes approximately 6 days of continuous use, 8 hours a day, to log 6 load cycles on a battery.
That phone is used.
