Battery cycles of Macbook

What exactly do the battery cycles mean and what is the normal amount of cycles for the macbook battery (mine is at 25)

Battery cycles are the amount of times you have charged the battery. There is no normal or standard amount of cycles. It depends on how much you charge/use your Mac. For example mine is at 170 with its health being 100%

A charge cycle means using all of the battery’s power, but that doesn’t necessarily mean a single charge

k thanks guys. My cycles went up in the last few days to 25 so i wanted to just make sure it wasn't something irregular.
