battery drain 4.2.1 ?

has anyone else noticed since the update to 4.2.1 the battery life really sucks? before the update normal use would be around 70% at lunch time now its well below 50% and also seems to take a lot longer to charge.

Is your iPhone jailbroken? Did you "hactivate" with Redsn0w?

Turning off notifications helps me, but I may do a restore as new just to see how that works.

i did use redsnow. my wifes phone and friends phone are not JB and they are having the same problem.

i had this problem to but on 4.1 on my jb iphone. I had a virus on it and another member discovered this we both had the same thing. But i dont know if im allowed to post the link to the other forum here

Redsn0w's "hactivating" is partly the problem. Also you should set up your iPhone as "new".
