I have a 1.3 GHz Core i5 Macbook Air 13". Until very recently I got 8-9 hours of use on a single charge, with web browsing and email. This morning I started working at 8am and at 1030am I am down to only 2 hours remaining. I have not changed any settings that I'm aware of. Any ideas?

Run coconotbattery to check battery health and see if there are any issues.

Thanks. I downloaded coconutbattery and this is what it's telling me:

1bzTA+

Note that I just unplugged my MBA maybe 10 minutes ago, and it's already down to 88.8%.

What else should I be considering?

Office 2016 is a bit of a hog, particularly with multiple windows. May reset the PRAM or whatever its called

Open Activity Monitor and see what processes are running.

Alternatively; installing iStat Menus will give you a menubar graph showing the current CPU activity. Very useful to keep an eye on.
