Is anyone else experiencing sever over heating from just browsing on safari my fans are on full blast all the time when just web browsing and the metal casing almost burns to the touch i can't even google for 20 mins without over heating

If you have flash and various other plugins, they will raise the temperature. It could also be that the fans have too much dust.

Make a new user account and try Safari there. Is it still running hot?

yes and its a 2015 MBA i7 i don't get whats going on

Is it always hot or does it get hot when you watch movies? Are you using it on a soft surface?

Maybe ask Apple to look at it? You should have warranty till next year.

I am having the exact same problem. When I quit Safari and run Firefox or Chrome, it's fine and doesn't heat up or use up the battery. I can't find ANY solutions anywhere. Running Yosemite 10.10.5. Safari version is 9.0.1. Any help would be appreciated.
