Battery drain while timer?

Hi
I'm using iPhone 6 iOS 8.4.1.
I noticed that when I set a timer, the battery drains too much.
For example, today I set the timer for one hour and left the phone. After this hour, the battery drained in 7 percent.
(Without paired Apple watch or any internet connection.)
Any help?
