Hi, Just purchased a 3g IPhone 16gb

And I follow this thread:

Initial Charge (a few theories out there, I felt this is the safest route to go)
#1 - Buy the iPhone 3G. Do not use the iPhone 3G.
#2 - Initially charge your iPhone for 8 hours. I've read conflicting statements about this. To be safe, don't use your phone before letting it charge for 8 hours. Also, use your wall charger (avoid the computer charger).
#3 - Now it's time to calibrate your battery indicator. Let the iPhone's battery fully drain. Keep the iPhone off for five hours once drained, then fully charge your battery. Allow the battery to rest in the fully charged state for two hours. You may use your iPhone during this time as long as the iPhone is plugged in.
#4.0 - Next, fully charge your iPhone again.
#4.1 - Repeat steps #2 - #4.0 a maximum of three times if you feel your battery indicator is inaccurate.

But I need someone to tell me few things :
#3 Let the battery fully drain -> is it to leave the phone on and let it drain or I can play with it till it drains ?
#3 to #4 Allow the battery to rest in fully charged state for 2 hours and then fully charge iPhone again ?! so its fully charged and I need to charge it after that 2 hrs ? right ???

Thanks for help and sorry for noob questions :p

It's not as hard as the steps above. There are a lot of people who feels the battery is more finicky than it really is.

All you have to do is:

- Charge it fully when you get a chance. Don't worry about whether you're using the wall charger or the computer. Either should be fine as long as the iPhone charges.

- Maybe let it run down to about the 10% level once, then charge up fully again.

That's it. Charge and discharge as you see fit. Feel free to top off frequently when you can.
