Just to clarify, what I posted was not incorrect.
It's not wrong. I never said the app remains running, you just implied it. In fact, I've gone out of my way to point out that apps are "frozen" when in the drawer in iOS4. See my other posts.![]()
the reason I included you was because of line:
It's like how OS X works, where when you close a window the application is still running, but there are no documents on screen.
which I took as you have 'quit' the app (so there is no more system resorces used) as opposed to 'minimizing' the app where it is still fully open just not on the screen, that's why you are/were wrong
When you're in an iOS 4 app and you click the home button, the app does not quit it gets put in a suspended state and put into the drawer. If you want to quit the app, you have to open the drawer and quit it manually.
that would have been a little more clarified to the people who know nothing about iOS multitasking
Lest we forget: This forum is a haven for 13-16 year olds.
needless to say I am not
and remember what I said was still correct I just added that bit to clarify that what I said was correct and prevent the 'OMG n0 WAY I th0ught that it waz differz' or other such drivel
