My battery on my X has been draining rather quickly lately. I usually can not even get to 8pm before its at 5% if I watch a video on Youtube it drains 1% about every 2-3 minutes and just browsing apps it does the same thing. I have the most recent ios 13.2 update and nothing seems to be getting better. I have location services set to only work when in an app, i have my brightness below 50%, and I have app refresh off.

Any ideas on what I can do? battery health is 88% and says it is working correctly at peak performance.

Apple’s battery diagnostic is wrong. 88% is in reality more like 60%. I guarantee a fresh battery will increase battery life by about 50%.

Mine X is 87% battery health and after using some of the tips in this video my battery life has vastly improved:

Try getting rid of unused apps and double check location services for all of your apps.

Thanks. Also I dropped my phone about 30 feet a month ago and the whole front shattered. Is it possible that the battery got damaged?

yes. Maybe a short or some logic board damage.

I will say though, that these problems only seemed to start after ios 13

I have an icloud backup from July. If I do that backup would it take me back to ios 12?
