Hey Guys, I've noticed that my 12" Macbook is draining the battery even when powered off. I charge it to 100% turn it off,. A week later I turn it on and its totally dead.. Is this a common issue with these Macbooks?

it's a Mojave bug that's been a longstanding issue. the problem is that the computer doesn't sleep and has trouble maintaining sleep. here's the fix, type this into Terminal:

sudo pmset -b tcpkeepalive 0

sudo pmset hibernatemode 25

Im not running Mojave and this only happens when its powered OFF...

how long have you had the laptop for? if it's still under warranty ask Apple to take a look.

I bought it in 2015 , out of warranty.. dropped it off to Apple yesterday.. Ran some quick tests all looked fine,. They are keeping it over night and see how it drains overnight when powered off.. I think its the battery... thats' bad
