Battery Dying At Around 15%?

Anything I can do about this?

First 2 times I was very confused as I knew I had enough battery for at least another hour remaining then yesterday while I was actually using it and the battery was around 15% it died so I knew it was that.

What is your iPhone, iOS, etc... ?
Do you had anything turned at that time? Like 3g, BT, Wifi, Location? Any background app running? Do you use Jb? Any tweak installed?

That information might help a lot, because we can't say anything just looking at your post xD

iPhone 4S, 5.01.

All of them besides BT.

Any background app running? Do you use Jb?

I always close my background apps. I am jailbroken.

Well, you have a lot of tweaks installed, everything is on on your device, all of these little things push the processor a little bit, so you kill your battery even faster. 3dboard my increase battery consumption even more, because is always on and uses the processor for the "pseudo" animation, besides the accelerometer (i guess).

My iPhone 4 can only stand a day with 100% with everything turned off except the wifi. 15% can't stand for an hour with everything on :T

My phone did that as well and it was the battery itself dying. it progressively got worse and would shut off at 20, 50 and finally 80% i switched the battery and now it is better.

I'll try disabling some running processes like 3DBoard and see what happens. If it keeps on getting worse I'll try replacing my battery.

Bad. Went to bed at 2.30 with the battery at 60% woke up at 11 and the phone was dead. 😕

That's odd... I would advise you to restore your iPhone like a new phone. I did this with mine and get better...

Yes you can. Choose between OpenBackup and PkgBackup. See which one suits you better.

does intelliscreenx take up huge amounts of battery? I feel like my iphone battery leaves something to be desired since I jailbroke. I don't use any themes, just a few tweaks, intelliscreenX, and siriextensions.

I get MAYBE 4 hrs of use before my battery is gone.. and 70% of use is txting all day (for work mainly) and a good 10-15% is using safari or my RSS reader. I hardly ever make calls.
