iPhone XS Max Battery Health dropped 2% in 3 weeks

My 6 months old XS max dropped 2 percent of its battery capacity within this late of august. is this normal? i dont usually go to below 30%

checked iMazing it sasy 101% battery health but the Device itself says 98%

Don’t stress about it. That indicator is just an estimation, not absolute. So different programs might show different data. 2% in 6 months is fine. All depends on your usage.

I am assuming iMazing starts with 103%, when I read your post. I installed a new battery on my 8 plus and it showed 103%. Didn't make much of it then, but when I saw your post, the 103% would make sense. A 2% drop would get it to 98% on the phone and 101% on iMazing.

Without knowing the exact algorithm to calculate the data it’s hard to say.

However, a possible explanation is that not all batteries are made equal. Some batteries can hold on to more charge than what the required MHz is for a specific device type. If the algorithm uses the officially recommended numbers to be the value for 100% as a constant then you can see 103% is normal if the specific battery in question can hold a little extra charge.

generally I charge it once a day, sometimes I get low mid day and quick charge it to 50%

Charging less doesn’t actually increase long term battery life. Better to just plug it in when you can rather than waiting it to go down to certain level.

Wasn't implying it would. Also battery temperature was always low, since I'm in Australia now, again in winter.
I guess I'll have to replace it when it hits one year.

Ah fair enough. Australian summers are killer though. I can imagine the batteries getting killed in summer.
