What is you battery Heath on watch OS 7? My Space Grey aluminum S5+ with cellular is now at 94%. But it was 97% a week ago after installing the beta (and never had stellar battery life to begin with). It gets very hot while charging. Anyone has had a similar experience? Not too concerned as I have AppleCare+ but curious if anyone has had a similar experience

For me is great. I love specially the sleep mode feature I rarely loose 9-11% of battery drainage during sleeps.

Weird. Mine has lost too much. Could be a bunch of things and one of the “perks” of beta software. Let’s see what measurements I get from future releases

Well look like mine is the only crappy one lol

I would take what you get from battery health with a grain of salt.

My iPhone shows 92% battery health and I have absolutely lost more than 8% of my usage time within a charge. I find battery health to be a rough estimate.

I agree. However I do think something is wrong with my watch as it is getting too hot it charge. Now it is down to 93%. Losing 4 points within two weeks of usage sounds a bit extreme.
Like I said not too concerned as I still have over 16 months of AppleCare coverage, but curious as it seems to be the only so far experiencing this on the watch

Ya, battery health aside. My watch doesn't heat up when it's charging. I'd get that looked at. Especially if you can reproduce it at an apple store, they'll probably replace it that day.

All of my Apple Watch’s including my S5 get warm while charging, I’m assuming that’s quite normal.

probebly I’ll have to wait until it’s out of beta, not sure if they’ll service it with it on

How are you viewing the battery capacity? Does coconut support the Watch?

It’s part of watch OS 7 Beta.

-Settings - Battery - Battery health. Has to be done on the watch, it doesn’t show on the Watch app.

October 2018 Series 4 is at 91%.

I originally replaced my Series 0 because its battery could no longer last a day, if I remember correctly it was around the 2.5 year mark that it could no longer hack it. I'm hoping that the S4 fares a little better, ideally I'd like 3-4 years minimum out of it.

I have a S3 from October 2017 that I’ve used everyday including for sleep tracking and it’s saying battery health 100% which can’t be correct. Maybe it takes a few cycles to calibrate.

What apps do you have loaded on your face and how many hours a day are you getting?
Only third party app I have on the watch face is Carrot weather. Battery is a little better today, but there are days where it would be halfway drained after about 5-6 hours. So far today it's at 76% after 5 hours 51 minutes. But it's inconsistent, some days would be fine but more often it would drain very quickly.

I'm sure it will improve in later betas though.

I appreciate the reply. Trying to gauge whether to install on my series 5 in the next week or so. I installed on my series 3 last night to test the sleep tracking and it used 14% battery in 8hrs.

I have 2 third party complications on my series 5 Infograph, along with stock complications.
