So I just bought a new 15" MBP 2.66ghz and the battery seems to already be draining pretty quickly after a full charge. Is there any settings I need to change to make it last longer? I'm only using iTunes and Firefox at the same time. Thanks.

Make sure you don't have things on you don't need, like Blue Tooth for example. Also if your screen brightness is turned way up it will drain your battery very fast; adjust brightness to a comfortable level.

Heavy downloading will also drain the battery very fast.

So I checked my screen brightness and it was almost all the way up! Now that I've changed it my battery is lasting longer! Thank you!
