    Hey guys,

I have a g4 Aluminum powerbook from a few years ago and my battery drains incredibly fast when off the charger, and on top of that, when it gets to be at about 75%, it completely shuts off with no warning...and i'm sure i need a new battery, but i just want to make sure that there isn't something else wrong with my computer before i buy a new battery. Any help would be great guys...thanks.

It's your battery. Newer Technology will sell you a replacement that has more life than the original PowerBook battery for $100 to $125.
