This has been a longstanding issue. My original battery exceeded it's cycle count and my magsafe as looking battered so it was only natural that I replaced them. At this point, my laptop only worked on the charger and i'm still having this problem.

I went for a genuinely decent looking, cheaper alternatives for battery and charger but they aren't manufactured by Apple which could be a problem.

The magsafe is very sensitive so with any slight movement my macbook just cuts out. It's gotten to the point where I can no longer bare it!!

Any help is appreciated, thank you

I would return it from the company/person you got it from and demand for your money back, and I'd use that money to buy an official Apple charger/battery for the macbook.

Unfortunately I bought it several months ago and there's probably little I can do now, i'm wondering if theres a solution to making the battery recognisable

    Thanks
