It seems like my battery has been draining much quicker for the past few weeks then normal. There definitely has to be something wrong with it. I got my MBP last June, so of course it's out of warranty now. I just set up an appointment for tomorrow, but is there anyway to check the battery health or anything I can do?

Use iStat Pro to get battery readings, among other things. There are many factors that impact your battery life. See the BATTERY LIFE FROM A CHARGE section of the following link for details, including tips on how to maximize your battery life.
