From what I have read I guess I am doing pretty well and the battery is just DONE. Currently with my Istat pro it lists the battery as: 31% Health, 621 Cycles, 44% Charge, Minutes remaining 21. I have taken extremely good care of this battery since new, Jan 2007. Just put a new HD in, I think rpm's were the same. Did some work on Itunes and now 2 days later the battery is junk. Before I go drop some money on a new one I wanted others comments on the situation. I have done the recalibration several times through the life of the computer. Any help is greatly appreciated, as well as the best priced place to buy a new one.

Yeah, after 3 years with lots of charges/discharges, battery life is usually less than 50% for laptops. Recalibration isn't going to make the battery better, it just improves the accuracy of the measurement. How many hours can you go before the laptop shuts off?

It lasts about an hour. Throw in some internet use or a video and the percentage just ticks down, doesn't last long. So where should I get the new one???
