Battery Level Lightning Bolt Icon's position mean?

Does anyone know what the lightning bolt icon position in the graph mean?

Was that when you were charging your device?

Yes, I did an experiment and charged my iPhone X at 50% but the lightning bolt appeared below it. On my iPhone Xs Max, I started to charge around 55% and it appeared above the 70% mark.

Looks to me like it's positioned so as not to interact/overlap with the curve on the graph, is all.
