Hey so I'm wondering something. How long does it take the iPhone to display an accurate battery percentage? I've had my 8 plus for about 3 weeks and if I reboot my phone (cause of ios bugs) and my phone is at >95% when it reboots it will display 100% battery life. Obviously one of these two numbers are incorrect.

When I upgraded to ios11, for roughly 2 days it would go from 98% to 100%.

I'd charge my phone from anything below it and the moment it hit 98% and I happened to turn my screen on, it would jump to 100% instantly. Same thing happened at 99%.

It randomly went away after a couple of days so I'm happy about that.

I just rebooted it because it started playing the wrong tone for text messages (an ios 11 bug i am experiencing), it went from 100% to 94%

Phone still displays 100% even if your actual battery is at 95%. Install Coconut battery on your MBP and you will find out. When at 99%, it's actual is 94%. Currently % on my phone is 65% and reading from coconut battery it shows 61.4% (Since I have the Coconut Plus, it's reading it wirelessly)
