Hi all,

So I have the series 4 Apple Watch. I would like to know what is the best way or correct way of managing the battery and charging for this watch.

Before watch os 7 I used to leave my watch on charge all night and by the time I went to bed which was about 10pm I still had about 20% battery life.

What I do now is that I charge my battery to near enough full 100% before I go to bed and then I wear my watch while sleeping because of the new feature for bedtime. When I wake up I may have gone down about 14% battery and then I re-charge the watch to 100% and then get on with the rest of my day.

So what I am trying to figure out is that am I doing things the right way here. Or should I just not charge before sleeping and see how it goes through the night and then fully charge in morning? How are other people doing things when it comes to charging?

thanks in advance

Thats what i do also. But i charge while i get ready for work and it will charge to about 92% before i put it on my wrist again. I dont need 100% to last the whole day.

Place on the charger in the evening while you get ready for bed = 30-45 minutes.

Put on, wear to sleep

Place on the charger in the morning while you get ready for the day = 30-45 minutes.

That should be all you need.
