Battery life different between S1 &S2?

The Series 2 has a larger battery over the S1. 30% larger to be exact. That said, the Airpods shouldn't drain your battery that fast.

Before you make the return, attempt a re-pair with the Apple Watch and your iPhone first. If that doesn't help, you could Contact Apple directly as well.

This is what I would do.

S2, is bigger than S1 and S0.. if one isn't using the GPS a lot during the day, then it's going to last measurably longer. I easily get nearly 2 days and 2 nights and 2 workouts with the S2, vs my S0 which really had to be charged daily.

My S1 finally started getting good battery life after about 2-3 days. I am now able to go about 36 hours without charging it.
