Battery Life in Snow Leopard

I think it may be the unibodies?? My battery life on my MBP-17" has gone to the crapper since upgrading. It did not even last two hours yesterday! I have battery performance set to "Better battery life" and the default settings.

Thoughts on why this may be?

My battery life has been cut in half since SL install. I am praying for a fixer and SOON!

Ok I've just noticed something crazy going on with my battery indicator.
I've been using it for about 30 mins and it has dropped from 100 to 88 percent. I've never really paid attention but I'm sure thats worse than I got on Leopard. What's strange is that at 100% I had estimated 5.10 hours remaining. Then as I got to 90% there was 3.40 hours remaining, at 89% 4.20, 88% 4.28.

Do I need to recalibrate my battery or something?

It seems my battery life has been greatly reduced as well.
I have a 15" unibody MBP 2.53.

OK just found the fix. I needed to recalibrate the battery and it was back to normal.

battery life...

I just installed snow leopard and the battery life has SIGNIFICANTLY improved...yahoo!! I was not expecting it, but what a pleasant surprise!😉

Sorry for the spelling I am dislex..

I would disagree (I have a 1.8GHz MacBook Pro) with Leopard installed I get over 3 hours, with Snow Leopard I get a litel under 2.
