My battery currently hold 6565mAh. I don't believe it's right because when I ran Snow Leopard it was a solid 7.5-8 hours of usage like they advertise.

Lion tends to be more resource hungry then SL.

I don't know whether twitter.app is resource hungry, but ~ 15W when idle sounds like a bit too much for a long battery duration.

I stopped using the twitter app because my battery life seemed to dramatically decrease when I was using it.

That's my goal...I am going to download the flash plug-in thingy when I get home, but what is the adblock app you refer to?

Just click on "Safari", then "Safari extensions." It's the most popular extension, and removes all ads. Ads are often flash based and reduce your battery life without bringing you much benefit. In addition ads are a potential source for malware, even if that doesn't affect us so much. So I prefer not seeing any ads!

Concerning the 7 hours... if I pay no attention to my power consumption, it's probably closer to 6 hours - I like my screen rather bright, and I like flipping through websites very fast.

OK, cool...I installed those two plug-ins/extensions. Thanks! Any other tips to increase battery life between charges?
