iPhone X 256GB Silver AT&T

I Bought It On November 18, 2017
As Of Right Now April 17, 2018 It’s On 99%.

But, I have EVERYTHING turned Off.
Location Services - Off
Background App Refresh - Off
GPS - Off.

I Have Gone To EVERY SINGLE LITTLE SETTING and still get 5-6 Hours Of Use.

I’M NOT A HEAVY USER.
I don’t have Facebook Installed.
I have the LEAST Apps Installed possible and often delete a few in case having tons of apps causes battery life to suffer.

I have even restore the iPhone in iTunes And Setup As New a few weeks ago.

So the question is:

What the F Is wrong with my brand NEW 100% iPhone X That I Bought From The New Apple Store In Chicago.

I Pay $1266 and I’m starting to regret Buying It.

I want to do an appointment Genius Bar appointment but, I already know that they’re gonna look at the Battery Setting that it’s on 99% tell Me That turn off GPS and stuff. And don’t do nothing.

I don’t even want to waste minutes to go.

The iPhone isn’t consider new with 5 months of useage. You can go under Battery settings to re-evaluate which apps is using a considerable amount of on screen time but 1% battery degradation isn’t alarming enough to warrant a battery replacement since it’s basically wear and tear. The question is, what do you do mostly on your device? It would be reasonable if you play games or stream videos for that amount of usuage. However, on my X I am getting at least 10 hours of usage with max 12 hours. Do you use iCloud backup? Do you use max brightness? It might also be possible a defective component causing the system to compensate with extra load but you can rule that out with A Genius Bar visit since it’s the first diagnostic they will do.

Even that’s not a serious concern depending on what the usage is.
Sure, usage can play a role, although given the rest of the information seems like usage is on the lighter side, so seems like it can be of some concern for someone to try to figure out what could be going on there.

You obviously have no idea how batteries work. Nothing wrong with your batteries performance...

What is the 5-6 hours usage? 5-6 hours of phone calls with a weak signal could be the reason. It would be helpful to see your battery usage.

5-6 hours of actual screen time use seems reasonable. I mean my iPhone x was doing camera and video and i had to top up after 3 hours of continuous engagement... (100% to 20%) no surprise video is intensive ****.

Plus u did not describe what u actually do in day to day use but give a generic question so people are unable to help but give a generic response like “go to genius bar n get it checked upon” which I would say also because i have no idea what your actual core problem is... u nv know it could be a defective component and they might replace u for free since its still within the warranty apple period who knows no harm doing so. Plus if they ask u for a fee u have the right to decline the process. They will confirm are you able to to pay and proceed or not with upfront costs etc and reasons why... its apple.

Let me get this cleared up... 5-6 hours of screen on time? Or just in general?
5-6 hours EVERYTHING then it dies.

Sometimes I go to bed with 100%
And wake up with 50% sometimes and a few times completely dead.

After I unplugged it from the charger 100% I just read for a few minutes then sleep.

I never game, Facebook, Twitter or any of those things.
