Battery life on iPhone 4

I have done the restore and it did not make much of a difference. Last night i charged to 100% then put on Airplane mode and still woke up this morning to 80%.

Ive already had the phone replaced due to proximity issues and yet battery is still nowhere as good as 3gs. Have another genius appointment for friday.

Most of you folks know a lot more than I but here goes anyway. I charged my IP4 up to 100% and went to bed. Woke up with it at 42%. dissapointed! Then I started looking for a problem. Did all the normal things people talk about, turned off 3g, push etc etc. Still was a drain. Double clicked the home screen to see what was in there and had about a dozen apps. I did not check which ones although none here mapping or music. Now for 3 days I have gone to the home task manager or whatever it's called and manually turn everything off. Now after a full charge I can go 10 hours of standby and still show 100%. My phone at this minute says
14 minutes usage (only been up a short while)
10 hours 10 minutes standby
99% battery
The kicker is, I have push turned on, location services on, auto-lock at 3 minutes, cellular data on, data roaming on and wifi on.
I AM STOKED!!
Sorry for not being as knowledgeable as most, just suggesting, manually turn everything off and see what happens!

UNSCIENTIFICALLY AND ANECDOTALLY - my iphone 4 batt life seems worse since installing facebook - I wonder if there's a flaw in there somewhere. Again this is just an observation and may be way off the mark, but at first glance it certainly seems facebook is doing something.

im gonna kill all the apps in background and try again tonight and see what happens tomorrow.
