... to anybody who already has the iPhone SE 2020 in use: How is the battery life?
Its about the same as iPhone 8
Battery case is an absolute must for people who are more than light users, especially if they spend most time on LTEIts about the same as iPhone 8
looking back at the anandtech chart for iPhone 6 it seems that iPhone 6 has better battery life than 8 or SE now
Will see next week I guess
Speaking of which, I have had the battery case on since 3am est, and the case is at 45 % while the phone is still 100%.Battery case is an absolute must for people who are more than light users, especially if they spend most time on LTE

LTE drain will be minimal, assuming you’re constantly connected to a strong WiFi signal.2nd day with the phone: all day with Wifi, BT and LTE on. Streaming music for hours on end, otherwise messages, casual browsing and some youtubing. After 14,5 hours I have 33% left.

In case this isn't a joke, then it's quite illogical. The way this works is:
Battery Life:
iPhone 6 (iOS 8) > iPhone 8 (iOS 11)
But iPhone 8 (iOS 12) >>> iPhone 6 (iOS 12)
So if iPhone SE (iOS 13) == iPhone 8 (iOS 11)
Then iPhone SE (iOS 13) >> iPhone 8 (iOS 12) >> iPhone 8 (iOS 11)
In case this isn't a joke, then it's quite illogical.
How can you have:
iPhone SE (iOS 13) == iPhone 8 (iOS 11)
then have:
iPhone SE (iOS 13) >> .. >> iPhone 8 (iOS 11)
Yeah, non-plus, no-notch devices, up until the 8, don’t get great battery life on LTE, even on original iOS versions (only stat that matters, imo).Battery case is an absolute must for people who are more than light users, especially if they spend most time on LTE
Screen-on time?2nd day with the phone: all day with Wifi, BT and LTE on. Streaming music for hours on end, otherwise messages, casual browsing and some youtubing. After 14,5 hours I have 33% left.
2 hours 40 minutes.Yeah, non-plus, no-notch devices, up until the 8, don’t get great battery life on LTE, even on original iOS versions (only stat that matters, imo).
Battery life on the SE remains to be seen, but if it is anything like the other 4.7-inch iPhones (which are pretty similar if you compare them on their original versions), we are looking at about 8 hours of light, indoor Wi-Fi use, and around 6 of pretty light to mildly moderate LTE use (higher brightness due to being outdoors, etc). Anything heavier and on LTE and you can get maybe 5, which isn’t enough for a heavier user.
All this comes with a huge disclaimer: Maybe the SE 2’s battery life is better than the other 4.7 phones on their original versions, who knows...

Screen-on time?
If there was a lot of (streamed) music, it’s not too bad? It’s hard to judge like that, I think.2 hours 40 minutes.
That was 2:40 at a certain time, not total2:40 hours SoT is disappointing I hope it guess better.
My 6s with 2200mah battery does between 3:30 and 4 hours SoT every day.
The Xs does 3:30 consistently.
Anyone buying the SE for battery life will be sorely disappointed. 11/pro/max are what you want if you want that kind of battery longevity. It’s a sub-2000mah battery here.I saw that, but I guess it won't get more than 3:30 with these 33% left.. I hope I'm wrong tho, because I'm selling the Xs to get the SE.
That’s why I said it was hard to judge. Listening to music all day breaks the statistic because it uses battery but it isn’t logged on the Screen-on stat. There’s not much I can take from that.2:40 hours SoT is disappointing I hope it guess better.
