my battery life on my MBP late 2011 went down after installing mountain lion. anyone else having this issue? i charged it to 100% it said 5 hours or so used to say 8-9 hours. it was at 88% and said 4 hours.

The "estimate" changes frequently. For example, you stop doing anything and you close your programs and it may say 9 hours. You run a quick video and it will say 2 hours. It just changes all the time.
The best way to measure how much battery you really got is to actually measure with a clock and see how much percent you lose after X amount of hours of usage. That's the most accurate way.

Mine's still close to nine hours. Mind you, my brightness is about 3/4..

2009 MBP averaged 6-7 hours and now getting 3-5 depending on video watching.
I def think there is a drain with this version, i've seen a battery drop of like 30 percent. Was just 28 percent, and did some browsing at half brightness, and 10 min later I am at 17 percent. I think I tweeted 3 times, wrote 1 email, and read 2 articles...it just seems to have iPhone like battery drain...

so right now i have 37% battery life losing about 1% every 3minutes. and it says i i have an hour left. this is not good. i might go back to lion if this doesnt get fixed
