With Safari 50% brightness and active Safari use, how much battery does 60 minutes consume? How much battery did your X/XS consume every 60 minutes?
The XS would drain 12-16% per hour on safari, whereas on my 11 Pro it’s 6-10%. On average, I can get around 11-14 hours of safari on a full charge.

I’m honestly impressed with battery life. I can’t even completely drain it unless it’s over two days or constant heavy gaming. I’m not sure how a user complains about similar battery life between 11 Pro and the X, but I’m going to assume something is wrong with their phone. With mild to moderate gaming factored in, I get 8-11 hours of on screen battery life.

Edit: iPhone X had serious heating issues and stability problems. Battery was very hit and miss when I had it.

I was actually thinking about battery life and since I got a battery case for the first time this week, it led me to ask, and put up a poll about "would you buy an iPhone if it was thicker but had 2x the battery?

iPhone 11 does not have better battery life than the 11 Pro.
I've yet to see the stats for the 11 pro vs 11 for battery life?

anandtech, trusted reviews, toms hardware and most review sites have comparisons. Usually they show that the regular 11 outlasts the pro in browser tests and quite a few others but lose out big when video playback is included due to oled saving on blacks.
It seems that ironically, the lower resolution helps the 11.

The battery is outstanding for my use. When I put my phone on the charger at night I’d say my average remaining battery is 60%.

I usually watch an average of 2-4 hours of movies or videos, Using Facebook through the day, texting and checking email and web surfing. This is all general stuff. I don’t clock it.

on heavier use days I’m at 50%.

While the 11 generally has better battery life than the Pro version, the latter is still excellent and well definitely last you the entire day now. It’s really outstanding this year and shouldn’t be underestimated.

I was disappointed in the 11 Max battery life at first, not as good as the XR (which was mind boggling great having come from a 6s+ and 7+) Took a few days to realize that the entire photos iCloud library was being updated for hours on end.. once that finished 11 Max is what I expected. Probably 13-14 hours of SOT.

I went from a 2 year old X to an 11 Pro. The battery life difference is night and day, been charging once every two days since i got it. Pretty stoked with the battery TBH

I just got the iPhone 11 Pro Max, and the battery on that thing is amazing. My girlfriend wants to get the 11 pro, and considering that she would be upgrading from an iphone 8, I'm guessing the battery life difference should be huge. However, she is also considering the 11, but doesn't really like it, due to it being somewhat bigger.

How good is the battery life on the 11 Pro in daily use? Can anyone with personal experience chime in? The battery life on my XS (regular, not the max version) was pretty underwhelming. I'm guessing it's a lot better than the XS in everyday use, since it has a considerably bigger battery?
I replaced my "old" XS with an 11 Pro, so I can report my personal experience of a quite heavy user (my statistics report 4h15min of daily average use).
With the XS , taking it out of charger at 6:15AM, by 11:00PM I was at 30% on the average day. Now with the 11 Pro in the same situation with the same usage pattern I have more than 50% battery left at the end of the day. Enough to start another day, if I would.

I’m not impressed with the battery on the 11 Pro. I had a X prior. I still need to charge the 11 Pro twice a day, just like the X.
your iPhone is most probably defective. I would visit an Apple Store.

Can the 11 Pro do 6+ hrs of non stop PubG at high brightness and full in built speaker volume? How long would it survive under those conditions if more/less than 6 hrs?
6 hrs of gaming on a 5.8" ?
Dude you have bigger problems than battery life ... 😖

I do agree.
And I own both.

There are many tests which shows that the regular iPhone 11 beats the iPhone 11 Pro in terms of battery life.
Not according to my experience.

That’s not my experience, and there are more online videos and reports of the Pro having battery battery life.

With dark mode, the larger battery and normal usage the Pro is better than the 11 (I have both in our household).

Bought the pro on Friday and I when I use Safari the battery heats up and it drains power. But with everything else it seems okay. I tend to mainly browse online newspapers. I hate using the apps these companies provide, but some of these publishers don't make their normal websites mobile phone friendly, which I can understand and can happily live with. I use the browse the regular website function.

What I also find annoying is the advice on some sites saying don't use apps that drain power. What's the point of paying out all that cash for the flagship if it is NOT designed to handle big apps? I believe the iPhones are designed for such use, otherwise if not, those behind the design should be fired.

I waited a Long time before upgrading my 6S to an IPhone 11 Pro. I was not interested in emoji, Memoji & Animoji so I skipped on purpose several generations.

It’s a great improvement. Today I started to use my phone at 5 am. I have 7h30 min of screen time. It’s almost 10 pm and I still have 12% left.

Not sure if it is good for this model but I really like having a good battery life.
