I have a quick question about the battery in early 2008 MBP. The laptop is 13 months old, with 273 load cycles, and it is already down to 72% of original capacity. I've read that it should still have 80% at 300 cycles. Is this normal, or is the battery dying faster than it should? I don't suppose there's anything I can do short of buying a new battery right??

    Thanks!

    NewTech Charger/Conditioner

I bought my 15" MBP last November, after conditioning I get 4 hours battery life. recently bought a spare battery, and I cycle them every other month. in Apple Support Tech Specs it said the battery is suppose to get 5 hours. maybe that's for the 17", I just know mine doesn't. I bought the Conditioner thru OWC.

yea but its important to see where your battery is after a year. its a whichever comes first scenario. so yea you'll just have to buy a new battery since its been over a year.
