There are some SSD that use very little power like the Intel SSD. Do you guys notice a battery life increase with a SSD that is power efficient?

I did notice a small boost in battery life after I swapped in an SSD, but I have never done any formal rundown tests. I imagine at best it will add an hour to its life, though the charge-left clock tells me it added anywhere between 2-4 hours, depending on usage.

Yes, I also saw a small increase in battery time when I went to the ssd... Of course, that of course was completely lost when I put a drive in the optical bay though. 😀

The Toshiba HG2 will really help your battery life. It's far from the fastest, but it's extremely efficient and still blazing fast. Tom's Hardware It's what I have installed...
