Bought a new Air 2 device last month and whenever i fully recharge it, i just get two dashes in the relevant boxes.
Took it back to Apple Store and the "genius" did a factory reset at some hassle to me.
No difference, I cannot see that data and .I do do a full recharge as stated in the panel.
Does anyone have any ideas?
A friend told me I may have to completely drain the battery each time before recharge for this function to work AND always keep iPad in sleep mode between charges, ie never power off.

Can anyone shed any light on this pls? Just like to know how many hours I am getting per charge.
Thanks

Your friend is talking rubbish for a start.

Are you unplugging at 100% or when the charging is complete because there two different things

Turning it off or restarting it will cause the issue you are seeing. However, you do not need to fully drain it each time. That part doesn't matter.

If however you do not see any sort of count after charging it to 100% and unplugging it, there is some issue.

Gav2k yesterday replied that there is a diff between unplugging charger at 100% and when charging is complete.

What is the difference as is just unplug at 100%.
