Hi all, has anyone noticed worse batt drain than previous 6.1.2? I updated yesterday my S4 and I have noticed much more batt drain than before even when it's sitting on my desk without doing anything.

You can have battery issues whith major releases that change a lot of things. But with minor releases, the risk is very limited, it's only bug fixes.
WatchOS6 is 6 months old now, there is no reason to see huge improvements or loss

Mine is sh*t right now. It’s 9:47AM. I woke up at 7:20 and my battery is already down to 86%. But like others said, I usually give it a day or two to settle in.

Have you tried a "Force Restart"? Holding down both the Crown and the button until the Apple Logo appears? Perhaps this internal reset will help?

I have and it did nothing. Personally I don't think the 'force restart' doesn't really service any purpose. Seems like something tech support tells someone to brush them off.

I had an odd thing happen with my AW 5 (purchased 2/6/2020). It was on the charger all night and when I attached it, saw the lightening bolt charging icon. Watch and charger on my dresser; nothing was moved. This morning put it on my wrist at 8 a.m. A few minutes ago I got a low power warning. Battery was done to 10%. Only activity was snowblowing my driveway. That's troubling.

Battery life with 6.1.3 was great. Currently running 6.2 beta and battery live still great. I usually charge each evening, but could go a couple of days without issue. AW4.

Does the watch actually 'index' files? My watch was having intermittent battery drain before this update. Hopefully it levels off.
I personally don’t believe in all this “indexing” nonsense.

On the watch, or iPhone.

On all the phones I have had, what I’ve got out the box, or after an update is how my battery stays.
