Battery Life with new MB vs Old

I've been shopping around and now am back to pondering my MB purchase. I can pickup a new blackbook (not refurb) macbook (the old model) for $1199. Or I can get the latest MB for $1499.

Those of you who have it, does the new proc help the battery life significantly? I haven't seen any official tests yet.

You mean the OLD one, that is like 2 day olds. 🙂
