Battery life?

Till beta 2 I can confirm that battery life was much better than on 5.1.1. On beta3 it has gone down.
Mine is atrocious, and one of my other guinea pigs is even worse off. He gets 3 hours from a full charge using maps, 3.5 hours if plugged into a (0.5A) car power adapter.
In both cases, it was fine on 5.1.1 and beta1, and tanked on beta2. 3 seems to be a hair worse, battery-wise, than 2, though overall it sucks less.

My iPhone 4S on iOS6 seems to have a much better battery life than when it was running 5.1.1.
Then again, it use to be jailbroken so that might have an adverse affect on its battery.

I've noticed that if to have Maps running in the background it zaps the battery. It doesn't seem to turn off the GPS location while in the background.
