Battery live drastically improved with 3.0 on iPhone 3G?

I installed 3.0 GM yesterday and suddenly my battery life seems to have improved drastically. Usually I would get 1 - 1.5 days out of the battery. But since the upgrade yesterday evening (12h ago), the battery indicator is showing still over 90% (rough estimate as I only have the small battery symbol) left.

(WiFi and 3G switched on . Location services switched off.)

I'm lucky if it lasts from 7am to 9pm 😱

Today is a good day...I'm on 80% after 5 hours standby and 1 hr 51 of usage

Obviously 3.0 breaks the battery indicator 😛
