Just opened my white 16g iPhone 5 and it's cosmetically flawless. The problem is the battery or something large and heavy slides around inside when you move the phone. Very noticeable moving it side to side. It's like the entire innards are loose inside the body!

This has been discussed before, it most likely is your battery.

I just saw this. I am not comfortable pushing hard on the screen. My luck it will crack and then I am SOL. Thanks for the link though.

up to you, but i pushed pretty dammned hard on my screen on all spots and it didnt even discolor(like when you press on a lcd screen and you see that blob of colors smearing around) and to the point where my thumbs were actually sore from doing it lol. but its your product do what you feel is the best option

Yeah, I have heard these screens are a bit tougher. I think I will just try my luck with an exchange. Thanks again.

Update:

Went in to Apple store and they fixed the loose battery. Genius took it in the back and came out 2 minutes later but the screen was bulging out on top and bottom yet flush in the middle. I said 'does this look right?', took it back and 10 min. later it was fixed. Man, QC is really not what it used to be. Like the 5 but next to the 4S it feels very fragile.

Thank you! This fixed it for me. But the thing with my iphone was I sent it to the service for a battery replacement, and when the phone arrived on my address and when I took it out of the package, I noticed that rattling. I thought they didn't put screws or adhesive glue to the battery but when i checked a random battery replacement video, I saw there's glue/adhesive under the battery. So, thanks again.
