Go over to the Apple Watch apps forum. There is an app called ministats that displays the battery usage and wifi network for your phone

Small, simple app that works extremely well. Will even send a notification when the battery level gets low.

There is no app to measure battery life on an iPad because you can't bluetooth a watch to an iPad
