So much about Apple quality. After a year and 5 months my classic mbp failed to charge battery. Istat nano shows 186 cycles and laptop works only with a powerbrick. Battery status shows "battery not charging". I tried to reset PRAM, SMC, detach and reattach battery, but seems nothing helps.

Yah, that is when warranty could help, but everything went quite smooth for a year and I newer purchased a warranty.
Google and macrumors search didn't turned much suggestions either.

I guess my only option is to go to the apple store and see if it is a battery or powerbrick problem ( I hope so) or logic board failure...

Check for any recalls or updates. I seem to remember this being a problem for certain macbooks/ macbook pros
