    Am I the only one? I've even done the reset all settings trick
    No dice.
    Anyone done a full restore and see the battery life improve?
    I'm lasting half a day now...used to last all day. I can only reach that now if I used low power mode, which of course, is not preferable.

    Not to mention the lag during control center app switching and such. I'm in a mental fight with whether or not I should go back to 8.4.1. I most likely will at this point and wait for a better update

    6 Plus here, on 9.0.1. Thus far my battery life has been about equal to when I was on 8.4.1, which is around 10 hours of mixed usage (SMS, emails, WeChat, gaming, Twitter, Safari, occasionally music/podcasts), +/- 30 minutes.

    Surprisingly, I felt like I was getting the most battery life out of 8.0 as I was getting probably 11-12 hours of usage then. I probably did a little less gaming then compared to now, which might explain the variance to some degree. I've done all my updates OTA for the record.

    On my 6 I had the battery life improve, on my wife's 6 it was the opposite. It cut the life in half. Brought it to the apple store and they did a full restore and now its better.

    It's early days, but it appears the battery life on my 6 Plus has diminished by about 15 to 20 percent. I'm disappointed because IOS 9 was supposed to be about improved performance and battery life. I haven't experienced performance issues like others, but I certainly haven't seen much in the way of an improvement. In terms of battery life, I'm not sure where the claim of an extra hour of battery life came from.

    Battery life has clearly been reduced by IOS 9 so far.

    Yep mine is really bad and it seems to have started with the last few public betas. I take my phone of the charger around 9 am and am usually down to 40-50% by the afternoon. It's awful :{

    Agreed. I did 2 hour cycle ride with Runtastic mountain bike running. I was at 40 percent. Previously I could ride for four hours and still be at 50 percent.

    Normal everyday use I am finding myself charging three times a day on iPhone 6.
    Trying to avoid full restore until IOS 9.1

    i have successfully resolved my battery issue today. Previously I was seeing half the battery life I experienced previously. I noticed that the location icon at the top right of the phone was always on. This means my GPS was always active. I had a look at which Apps were enabled for location services and which ones were presently active. i found one app that was active and in fact it was not even launched. When i checked the options for that app it was either "Never" or "Always" very unusually since the two choices are normally "Never" or " when launched" switched it to Never and also disabled a bunch of other apps that did not need location services and for six hours now I am seeing good battery life again.

    My 6 has had worse battery life since iOS 9. Pretty disappointed to be honest. Fortunately for me, I work from my house so I can just keep it plugged in most of the day if I need to, but it wasn't like that before iOS 9. I'm not the best, but pretty savvy with the settings so I've tweaked and toggled a lot of stuff... I did find that FB was doing a lot of background stuff so I killed it with fire (deleted it) but to no avail.... still have bad battery life. Nothing is searching via GPS, not looking for cell signal that I can tell, I sit about 2ft from my wifi router.... I think it's just the OS causing the problem. Pretty crappy if you ask me. And no, I don't have time to be wiping the whole thing and setting it all back up from scratch. Why offer a backup/restore mechanism if the only answer is to set up phone from scratch each time a new iOS comes out....

    Will wait to see what happens but as of now, pretty dissatisfied with this "upgraded" iOS.

    Battery has improved for me. Especially when I put my phone in low power mode when it gets to 20%. I upgraded, didn't restore as new and just reset all settings.
